We appreciate that you’ve chosen us for your massage and bodywork needs. To provide the best service possible to our clients we have implemented the following policies.
Cancellation Policy
• We ask that you provide us with a 24 hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please contact Luminescence Therapeutic Massage directly if you are unable to give less than 24 hour notice to avoid accruing any charges.
• If you No Show, your card on file will be charged 100% of the non-discounted service fee and prepayment will be mandatory for any subsequent appointments scheduled.
• If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you cancel your session.
• Inclement weather may also result in the need for cancellations. Please do not risk your own safety trying to make your appointment under dangerous conditions. Late cancellation due to emergency, illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.
• If we need to cancel your appointment on short notice for any reason, you will not be charged for the session.
Late Arrival Policy
We understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment. We ask that you call or text to inform us if this may occur so we can do our best to accommodate you. Arriving after your appointment time is scheduled to begin will not extend the session length. Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. If we are the cause for the late start, your session will either be extended or a discount offered to compensate.
Inappropriate Behavior Policy
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any inappropriate insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request will result in immediate termination of your session, charged the full non-discounted service fee, and refusal of any and all services in the future. Depending on the behavior exhibited we may also file a report with the local authorities.
Human Trafficking
We are required by law to alert the authorities if we believe you are in any danger, have been harmed, or are being coerced into any non-consensual activities. If you are in danger and make this known to your therapist, we will document the conversation and contact the authorities on your behalf but we cannot directly intervene.
